SALES DIRECTOR FOR AUTOMATION – SWEDEN, SPAIN, UK, POLAND, SLOVAKIA, GERMANY
Elisa Polystar, a subsidiary of Elisa Corporation, is a growth company focused in the Telecom Monitoring, Analytics and Automation. We are positioned to make self-driving networks happen and we believe that networks should be run autonomously so that humans can focus on higher-level tasks.
We are now looking for Sales Director for Automation to build and lead our business with leading operators (Clients).

This position will be filled in Europe serving Clients within EMEA.
JOB PURPOSE
The Sales Director for Automation plays a critical role in ensuring a successful market entry and revenue growth for Elisa Polystar. His/her responsibilities are primarily to generate sales to attain annual targets as well as to manage overall relationship with Clients within the defined territory for our automation products.
The Sales Director for Automation is expected to engage with Clients at all levels of the organization (C-level and down) to ensure Clients recognize the value-add of Elisa Polystar solutions and in order to gain market share across all business units.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Create and lead virtual teams to address the technical and business requirements of the selected customers in the region
- Translate customer challenge into closed deal, lead sales activities and manage the full sales cycle
- Achieve the expected results for the company
- Work closely and effectively with all other lines of business within Elisa Polystar
- Develop new project proposals
- Manage the business (pipeline and forecast) through effective use of tools such as Salesforce
- Promote and display business value that Elisa Polystar solutions bring to the Clients.
- Lead the sales cycle, and manage the relationship and customer engagement of accounts in within defined Clients
- Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
- Establish and coordinate opportunity management for larger and more strategic deals
EXPECTATIONS
- Experience in developing and managing business for industry grade telco software and services sales
- Experience in selling of network operations, analytics, cloud and/or OSS software and services
- Telco network and process knowhow appreciated
- Demonstrated experience in doing business with leading telcos and have a reach to telco executive level
- Demonstrated successful experience selling high technology products in assigned territory
- Ability to travel when needed and comply with the company’s travel policy
- Adequate number of years of relevant sales or channel management experience in OSS/automation software business
- Strong personal network within Telco industry in various countries within EMEA is a significant advantage
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience for business-to-business solution sales with a proven track record of success
- Fluent in English with a strong skill of verbal and written communication
- Networking and building relationships is your passion
LOCATION
- We hire the person in Sweden, Spain, UK, Poland, Slovakia or Germany.
- The work itself is independent with frequent visits to offices especially in Stockholm and Helsinki.
